How Cookie In The Raw Came To Be...

I could say I was being nostalgic and trying to capture the memories shared when I was a child baking cookies with my mom and just waiting until they were in the oven so my sister and I could lick the spoon and scrape the bowl, but that just wasn't the case.

To be honest, I was sitting on the couch, 7 months pregnant with my second child, watching tv when I had a craving for some chocolate chip cookie dough (not cookies, but the cookie dough).

Being a Registered Nurse I've come to learn the health risks associated with consuming raw eggs/flour (listeria, salmonella, and e-coli to name a few) and I would never do anything to harm any of my children, let alone eat something just to satisfy a craving... thus 'Cookie In The Raw'.

The 'spark' that started it all happened in 2014, but with 2 kids, a full time job, and continuing my education to obtain my MSN, I didn't have that much time to devote to creating what I hope will become a Cookie Dough Empire. With a few sales under my belt, adding a third child to our family, and settling back into life, now's the time!
